A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) is needed for a contract role within a K-12 school district near Columbus, GA. This onsite position will serve the Muscogee County school system, with specific school locations to be determined based on district needs and the candidate’s experience and preferences. The assignment runs from January 1, 2026, through May 21, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services to students in a K-12 school setting
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student developmental and academic goals
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Participate in meetings such as IEP (Individualized Education Program) as required
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Georgia
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably including pediatric populations
- Experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) with school-based experience are also encouraged to apply and will be given priority consideration
