A skilled Occupational Therapist is needed for a leave contract position supporting K-12 students in Columbus, OH. This opportunity concentrates on delivering specialized occupational therapy services within an elementary and middle school setting from mid-October through December 19th.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 students.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure therapy goals align with educational objectives.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
  • Deliver in-person therapy sessions; virtual services are not permitted.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure with demonstrated experience in home health, healthcare, or school settings.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload in educational environments, particularly K-12.
  • Must be able to work independently without assistance from Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7:25 am to 2:55 pm, totaling 7.5 hours per day.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position located in Columbus, Ohio, serving elementary and middle school populations.
  • Contract duration corresponds to maternity leave cover, beginning mid-October and ending December 19th.
  • Standard workweek includes 37.5 hours spread across five days.
