A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to support K-12 students at an onsite location in Darrington, WA. This full school year contract offers a dynamic opportunity to work directly with a diverse student population, providing essential therapy services to enhance their educational experience and functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success within the school environment.
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and update therapy goals regularly.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Promote adaptive strategies and environmental modifications to support student participation.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students.
- Strong understanding of educational therapy goals and school-based service delivery.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
