An occupational therapist with experience in school settings or pediatrics is needed for a K-12 educational environment located in Daytona Beach, FL. This is a contract position for the current school year, offering a rewarding opportunity to support student development and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an occupational therapist in schools or pediatric settings is preferred
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Active state OT license in Florida is mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulatory requirements
