Location: Belvidere, IL Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Contract Duration: School Year, with orientation on August 4-5, 2025, and student sessions running until May 21, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and support students' needs in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care.
- Modify tasks and environments to facilitate student learning and participation.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and deliver comprehensive evaluation reports.
- Develop and implement IEP objectives and accommodations in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Maintain effective communication regarding students’ developmental progress and required support.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois state license in Occupational Therapy.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Flexibility and problem-solving abilities to meet diverse student needs.
- Experience working with early childhood populations is preferred.
