Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois state license as an Occupational Therapist (COTA candidates may also be considered).

Responsibilities:

• Assess and ensure students can participate in classroom activities, focusing on fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
• Modify tasks and environments to support individual student needs.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and evaluations when appropriate.
• Create and maintain IEP objectives and accommodations based on assessments.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to discuss student progress and developmental needs.
