An opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in occupational therapy within educational settings. This role focuses on providing comprehensive therapy services to K-12 students, ensuring their individual needs are met during a 12-week maternity leave contract, with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students based on their unique needs.
  • Implement therapeutic activities to promote physical and developmental skills.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student outcomes.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with students and families regarding therapy goals and progress.
  • Maintain professional documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Current state licensure or certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, particularly in school settings.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
