An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to support students in a dynamic educational environment. This position is tailored for individuals with a strong background in therapeutic services within school settings, focusing on the needs of middle and elementary school students.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with middle and elementary school-aged children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Location:

  • Merrimack, NH

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create effective therapy goals
  • Assess and document students’ progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Deliver therapy in two adjacent school buildings, focusing on middle and elementary school students
  • Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for students’ needs
  • Maintain professional documentation and compliance with state regulations
  • Engage in ongoing professional development within the field of school therapy
