Located in Detroit, MI, this opportunity offers a Certified Occupational Therapist role within a K-12 school setting, covering both elementary and high school caseloads for the current school year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to students
- Writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitoring student progress
- Conducting evaluations and assessments
- Completing Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) reports
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in schools and knowledge of school-based OT practices
- Ability to provide teletherapy services is a plus
- Background in healthcare or home health OT is beneficial but not required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
