This contract position offers a rewarding experience working with students from elementary through middle school. The assignment is a maternity leave coverage starting in mid-October through December 19th, providing a well-defined timeframe for professionals seeking impactful work in a school environment.

Position Details:

  • Full-time schedule: 7:25 AM to 2:55 PM, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week)
  • Caseload: Approximately 50 students requiring occupational therapy services
  • Work location: On-site at elementary and middle school settings – no virtual work
  • Professional scope: Licensed Occupational Therapist (COTA assistance is not permitted)

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct occupational therapy services tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and school staff to support student progress
  • Evaluating and documenting student performance and therapy outcomes
  • Developing individualized intervention plans and engaging activities

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in home health, healthcare, and school settings
  • Knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and school-based therapy regulations
  • Strong communication skills for working effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage a substantial caseload independently
