School Occupational Therapist - Duluth, Minnesota

This position offers 32.5 hours weekly to assist students across various grade levels, including elementary, middle, and high school. Pay rate for OT candidates is $45-$50/hr and for COTA $32-$35/hr.

Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with students
• Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Familiarity with different age groups and their developmental needs.
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaborative practices.

Location:

• Duluth, MN

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of approximately 40 students.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to create and modify IEPs.
• Implement therapy plans tailored to individual student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
