This onsite Occupational Therapist role offers an exciting opportunity to support students across K-12 in a school setting located in the Highland Park/North Shore area, with a contract running from August 18, 2025, to June 5, 2026. This position is primarily full time at 35 hours per week, with consideration for part-time candidates. The role involves working with students from early childhood through transition ages, addressing a range of diagnoses and levels of support.

Responsibilities include delivering direct occupational therapy services across a varied caseload, which is currently being finalized and will be discussed during the interview process. As an itinerant therapist, you will likely travel to multiple school locations throughout the week, including some days involving multiple sites. This role requires adaptability and strong organizational skills to effectively manage a diverse student population and caseload dynamics.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience supporting students in school settings
  • Ability to work with a wide age range, from early childhood through transition-aged students
  • Comfort with itinerant work, traveling between multiple schools within a district or area
  • Skilled in evaluating and providing therapy for various diagnoses and functional levels
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with educators, families, and other professionals
