This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking a full-time position in a K-12 school environment within Elk Grove, CA. The role offers a contract for the current school year (CSY) and involves working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students across all grade levels in a school setting
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide supervision and guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) and facilitators supporting therapy sessions
• Accurately document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
• Fulfill comp time requirements as part of the work schedule

Qualifications:

• Current, valid California Occupational Therapy license is required and must be attached with the application
• Experience working in schools with Pre-K through 12th-grade students preferred
• Proven ability to provide effective therapy and collaborate within educational teams
• Skilled in supervising and supporting COTA staff in school settings
• Strong organizational and communication skills
