You’ll work with a manageable caseload of 11 students, dedicating specialized attention to each child’s unique needs. Most of your students receive 20-minute sessions once per week—totaling approximately 3 service hours. The overall commitment is 5 hours per week, with the flexibility for a few additional hours in response to IEPs, evaluations, and departmental requests.

What you’ll need:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license (Washington state or eligible for licensure)
  • Proven experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy environment
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Clear communication skills and a nurturing, student-centered approach

What you’ll do:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students, primarily in 20-minute weekly sessions
  • Conduct evaluations, contribute to IEP meetings, and update goals as required
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes compliant with school and legal standards
  • Adjust strategy and support based on evolving student and department needs
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment where every child can reach their potential
