Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Assess student needs and develop tailored intervention plans to support physical, sensory, and fine motor skills required for educational success
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote inclusive learning environments
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with a focus on pediatric and school-based practice
- Experience engaging with K-12 students and adapting strategies to diverse developmental needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with educators, families, and clinical staff
- Ability to maintain accurate records and provide measurable outcomes
- Knowledge of current school therapy protocols and IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) regulations
