School Occupational Therapist | Espanola, New Mexico

This opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist to support students in a high school setting in Espanola, NM. The position is full-time and onsite, running from ASAP through May 29, 2026. The role primarily involves working directly with students, providing specialized occupational therapy services aligned with individual educational plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person occupational therapy interventions tailored to high school students’ needs
• Develop, write, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) ensuring compliance with educational standards
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for all caseload students

Qualifications:

• Valid and active New Mexico state licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy services, preferably at the high school level
• Strong skills in IEP writing and understanding of educational assessments and regulations
• US citizenship is required for this contract position
• Ability to work effectively onsite in collaboration with school staff
