This full-time Occupational Therapist position offers an engaging opportunity to provide support across a K-12 school district in Renton, WA. Serving as a district-wide itinerant therapist, you will work directly with a caseload of approximately 30 students, spanning preschool through high school. The role requires in-person presence and dedication to improving students' functional skills to help them thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs across multiple school sites.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and therapists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy license and ESA certification.
- Active fingerprint clearance through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
- Ability to work in person throughout the school district.
