A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available to provide district-wide itinerant services for students ranging from 3 to 21 years of age in a K-12 school setting. The role begins on November 17, 2025, and concludes on June 17, 2026, with a contract spanning the current school year.
This position requires delivering therapy services across multiple school sites, supporting a caseload of approximately 35 students. The typical work schedule consists of 7.5 paid hours per day, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, Monday through Friday, totaling an 8-hour shift.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to support student participation and access to the educational environment.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure integrated supports.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations.
- Providing services across multiple locations as an itinerant therapist.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Current Washington State certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Valid Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential.
- At least one year of school-based occupational therapy experience.
- Completed fingerprinting and background checks as required.
- Residency and legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Submission of two completed supervisory references prior to starting.
- Ability to work in person for the full contract duration.
