A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within an elementary school setting in Hanford, CA. This position focuses on delivering targeted OT services to a single student diagnosed with autism who is verbal.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services for one student, focusing on individual needs and goals.
  • Conduct sessions approximately 20 minutes each, three times per month.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support the student's development and progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements.
  • Adapt strategies and activities to meet the student's evolving needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure and certifications suitable for school-based therapy.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically with students on the autism spectrum.
  • Ability to implement effective therapeutic interventions in a school environment.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional standards.

  • Elementary school setting in Hanford, California.

Duration:

  • Contract position covering the current school year (CSY).
