A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available for the full school year in Hayward, CA. This role supports high school students, providing tailored therapeutic services to enhance their functional abilities and success in the educational environment. The position is contract-based with immediate availability desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to high school students including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to address students’ physical and cognitive needs.
  • Participate in school team meetings and contribute to goal setting.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric developmental milestones and disabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective communication skills with students, families, and staff.
  • Experience with home health or healthcare OT services is a plus.
