School Occupational Therapist | Hephzibah, Georgia

A K-12 occupational therapy position is available in Hephzibah, GA for the current school year. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential therapeutic services within a dynamic educational setting, supporting students’ development and academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to promote student progress.
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide guidance and training to school staff on implementing therapeutic strategies in the classroom.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current license or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment.
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapy techniques and educational regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
