Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist
  • Experience providing OT or PT services in a school setting
  • Strong assessment and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other service providers
  • Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy
  • Effective communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete a thorough singular OT and PT assessment for two students
  • Analyze assessment results and develop clear, actionable recommendations
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for each student assessed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
  • If further services are needed, deliver weekly OT or PT sessions to one or two students, adapting interventions to meet evolving needs
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, school staff, and families on student progress and strategies for success
