An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students within a dual-campus school setting. This contract position extends from January through June, providing essential therapeutic services in elementary and middle school environments. The role is based in the Hilton Head Island area, South Carolina.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic goals.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional recommendations to enhance student success.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to the educational setting and student needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid credentials to practice in South Carolina.
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy, preferably serving elementary and middle school students.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, educational environments, and related therapies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently within a school calendar year framework.

Schedule and Location:

  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • Two campuses located near Beaufort, SC.
  • Contract spans the school calendar year from January to June.
