A contract position is available for an Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Hopkins, MN. This role focuses on delivering specialized OT services designed to enhance students' functional abilities and academic participation throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs.
• Develop and implement therapy plans that address fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and other functional goals.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly while maintaining appropriate documentation.
• Provide consultation and training to school staff to facilitate inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in school-based practice.
• Familiarity with healthcare therapy settings is a plus.
• Strong understanding of fine motor and gross motor development in children.
• Experience working with Classroom Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) in schools preferred.
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
