Located in Jarratt, VA, this contract opportunity offers a dynamic role providing occupational therapy services within a K-12 school setting. This position is essential in supporting students’ developmental and functional needs across elementary and secondary levels, promoting their success both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 50-60 students.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Conduct assessments and document therapeutic interventions in compliance with school policies.
  • Provide training and guidance to school staff on strategies to support student outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials to provide therapy in home health, healthcare, and school environments.
  • Experience working with K-12 populations is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of educational and developmental principles affecting children and adolescents.
  • Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Work Schedule and Duration:

  • Contract duration from ASAP through 5/20/2026.
  • Elementary school hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
  • Secondary school hours: 7:30 am – 2:30 pm.
  • Position will involve working within the public school calendar year (CSY).
