A part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is available in Jersey City, NJ, serving a high school population. This contract position is designed to cover a leave and requires expertise in school-based OT services, with a caseload of seven students aged 14-21 years. There is an option to collaborate with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who has pediatric experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to high school students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students aged 14-21
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Utilize COTA assistance effectively to maximize therapy outcomes

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school and healthcare settings
• Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
• Ability to supervise and work alongside a COTA, especially one with pediatric experience
• Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately seven students

Schedule and Location:

• Part-time position, 12 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Based in Jersey City, NJ at a high school location
• Contract role covering a leave of absence
