Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working in school settings, home health, teletherapy, and broader healthcare environments
- Proficiency in school-based OT services, including direct interventions and consultative support
- Strong skills in conducting comprehensive student evaluations
- Ability to manage and document Medicaid billing accurately
- Familiarity with IEP goal-setting, progress reporting, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable working with students across a wide age range, from PreK to high school seniors
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy sessions to students with diverse needs
- Conduct evaluations, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal development, and regularly update progress reports
- Provide consultation to teachers and families to support student success in the least restrictive environment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including required Medicaid records
- Flexibly adapt interventions, whether in-person, through home health visits, or teletherapy as needed
