An occupational therapist is needed for a K-12 school setting in King George, VA, providing services on a contract basis for the current school year. This position requires commitment for a half day once a week.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy
• Familiarity with pediatric populations in educational settings (K-12)
• Understanding of healthcare and home health OT services is beneficial
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
• Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to children’s developmental needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to support student success
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulations
• Participate in meetings and educational planning as required
