Occupational Therapist School Setting in Lakeport, CA

This opportunity is for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support a K-12 school district on a long-term leave of absence (LOA) contract in Lakeport, CA. The position runs throughout the current school year, providing vital therapeutic services to students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to individual student goals.
• Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Participating in meetings and providing consultation to promote student success and school-wide support.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations, including IDEA.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively support students and collaborate with school staff.
