This opportunity is for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within a school setting located in Lemoore, CA. The role involves working with a single student diagnosed with autism who is verbal, offering focused therapeutic assistance to enhance their learning and daily functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized occupational therapy services tailored to the individual needs of one student.
- Conduct 20-minute therapy sessions three times per month, ensuring consistency and progress.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the student's educational program.
- Monitor the student’s development and adjust interventions as needed to promote independence and engagement.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school policies and therapy standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in school-based settings.
- Proven ability to work effectively with students on the autism spectrum.
