Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid Ohio state license to practice Occupational Therapy
  • Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop individualized programs to support students’ educational participation

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement interventions for students requiring occupational therapy to support their success in academic and functional school activities
  • Document progress and maintain accurate student records in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to design and implement student-centered strategies
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and help set achievable goals for student success
  • Adapt services for diverse classroom environments and student needs
