A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support elementary school students in Lexington Park, MD. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in school-based occupational therapy, providing critical support to help students improve their functional skills and succeed in the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ occupational therapy needs within the school setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working in elementary school settings preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy and school-based interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
