Occupational Therapist School Setting in Lynn, MA

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support an early childhood school program in Lynn, MA. This role focuses on delivering specialized OT services to preschool-aged students within a school-based setting from December through the end of the school year. The position is onsite with scheduled hours from 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM. Both full-time and part-time openings are available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy evaluation and intervention to preschool children in an educational environment
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student achievement and developmental goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs in alignment with school guidelines
• Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory standards
• Participate in team meetings and assist with transition planning as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure appropriate for working in a school setting
• Experience serving preschool-aged children within school-based or early intervention programs
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and sensory integration techniques
• Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with families, teaching staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Previous contract or short-term assignment experience preferred

Location: Lynn, MA (onsite in early childhood educational setting)

Schedule: December through end of school year, Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 3:30 PM
