An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated professional with expertise in occupational therapy within educational settings. This role focuses on providing comprehensive therapeutic services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive in their school environment.
Location: Manchester, NH
Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized therapy plans for students.
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and progress made.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
