A K-12 educational setting in Melrose, NM, is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students’ developmental and therapeutic needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and modify classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to school staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the respective state.
- Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with child development and school-based therapy.
