An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students within a school district near Columbus, Georgia. This contract position, lasting from January 1, 2026, through May 21, 2026, involves delivering onsite therapy services during the school year. Assigned caseloads will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, preferences, and district needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy evaluation, intervention, and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs) that promote student success.
- Support students across various grade levels within the K-12 system, adapting strategies to meet diverse developmental needs.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring and team meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active Georgia Occupational Therapist licensure is required.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred, especially within school settings.
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) with school-based experience will be given priority consideration.
