This role is designed for the 2023-2024 school year, offering a unique chance to make a significant impact on a young student's development through targeted therapeutic practices.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of educational systems and IEPs.

  • Elizabeth, NJ

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to the assigned student, focusing on individual needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to the student’s development.
  • Assess the student's progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records of progress.
  • Conduct therapy sessions once a week for 30 minutes.
