An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide vital services in a dynamic K-12 educational setting. This role is focused on supporting students in Bellevue, WA, ensuring they receive the therapeutic interventions necessary for their success in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant field
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong understanding of IEPs and educational processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with education staff and families
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques appropriate for children
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat students requiring occupational therapy
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation as required
