A K-12 school in Monticello, IN, seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive services for students ranging from birth through young adulthood. This contract position offers the flexibility of part-time (22 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week) hours, with a daily start time between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The role entails supporting a diverse student population with a wide variety of diagnoses in the school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Implement therapeutic strategies to enhance students’ functional abilities and support academic success.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license or certification.
  • Experience working in school-based settings with students from birth to young adulthood.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions across various diagnoses.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while providing individualized care.
