A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year within a school setting in the Naperville, IL area. This contract position involves providing occupational therapy services to elementary and K-12 school students, with a focus on delivering impactful care throughout the full academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatment for students across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote student progress and success in school activities
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to optimize student learning and participation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and school regulations
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to support students remotely
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with Illinois state OT licensure (must be obtained prior to assignment)
- Experience working in school-based, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and educational teams
- Ability to manage a full caseload while meeting documentation and reporting requirements
