Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and assessments
- Commitment to collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and follow-up for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
- Conduct evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and discuss student progress and needs
- Ensure compliance with all school and state regulations regarding therapy services
