A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide specialized in-home services for medically fragile students. This role supports K-12 students within the Norristown and Upper Merion areas, focusing on delivering targeted therapy in a school-related setting throughout the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-home occupational therapy services to medically fragile students, ensuring personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare providers to support student progress and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Participate in regular communication and coordination to align therapy with educational goals.

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience working with medically fragile children or within educational settings preferred.
  • Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in home environments.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location:

  • Norristown and Upper Merion areas, Pennsylvania.

Hours and Duration:

  • Per diem position requiring approximately 2 hours per week.
  • Contract role for the current school year.
