A full-time occupational therapy opportunity is available at an elementary school in North Hollywood, CA, offering a dynamic and rewarding contract position for the current school year. This role is ideal for an occupational therapist who is passionate about supporting the developmental and functional needs of elementary-aged students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to support student participation in academic and daily school activities.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to student services.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Proven skills in school-based occupational therapy practices.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development and adaptive techniques in a school context.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
