Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in pediatric therapy, preferably in school settings
- Ability to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location:
- Aurora, IL
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized occupational therapy assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for students
- Implement therapy sessions that promote motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Supervise and mentor COTAs in delivering effective therapy services
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services and outcomes
