Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in school settings.
- Proficient in teletherapy practices, adapting techniques for virtual platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement therapeutic interventions.
- Relevant state licensure and certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop treatment plans for students requiring occupational therapy.
- Deliver teletherapy services, utilizing technology to engage and support students.
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to integrate therapy goals into the classroom.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions.
