An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive services within a K-12 school setting. This contract position, based in Pilot Rock, OR, offers a chance to support students across all grade levels throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions to a caseload of approximately 40-50 students, addressing a broad range of developmental, sensory, and motor needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adaptive strategies.
- Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes in compliance with regulatory and educational standards.
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultation to support student educational success.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license.
- Experience working in school-based settings serving K-12 populations.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students effectively.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with educational regulations and therapy best practices for children and adolescents.
