A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services to support students from PreK through 8th grade. The assignment runs from January 6, 2026, to May 22, 2026, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week during the traditional school year calendar.

Location: Pinehurst, NC
Setting: K-12 public school environment
Duration: Contract; January 6, 2026 – May 22, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Grades Served: PreK through 8th grade

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of students with physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments in therapy plans as appropriate.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in school, healthcare, and home health settings to support student goals.
  • Assist with adapting classroom environments and activities to enhance student participation and success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials in the state of North Carolina.
  • Experience delivering OT services in school settings, with knowledge of healthcare and home health frameworks beneficial.
  • Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention strategies for pediatric populations.
  • Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with educators and families.
  • Commitment to student-centered care that promotes independence and educational success.
