An occupational therapist is needed to support an elementary school setting in Porterville, CA, on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This role focuses on providing occupational therapy services to one verbal autistic student, delivering targeted intervention sessions of 20 minutes, three times per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to the needs of the student.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom environment.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to promote the student’s functional skills and participation in school activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school district policies.

• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT), with experience in school-based settings preferred.
