This position offers an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in Providence, RI. The role involves supporting a student’s development through targeted occupational therapy interventions, focusing on enhancing fine and gross motor skills essential for academic and daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver two 45-minute occupational therapy sessions per month to one student.
• Assess and address fine motor and gross motor skill development.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to meet student needs.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy.
• Ability to implement fine motor and gross motor skill interventions.
• Knowledge of OT practices in home health and healthcare is advantageous.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY)
