An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide full-time, in-person services for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school setting in Puyallup, WA. This contract assignment spans from September 3, 2025, through June 16, 2026, offering a consistent work schedule of approximately 35 hours per week.

The caseload will include approximately 50 students ranging in age from Pre-K through 12th grade, allowing the therapist to support a diverse group of learners with varying needs. The role requires hands-on, on-site engagement with students to develop and implement therapeutic strategies that enhance their educational success and daily functional abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students' educational goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapeutic interventions within the school environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment approaches as needed.
  • Support students’ participation and independence across school activities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy.
  • Background in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, or school settings is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within an educational team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students Pre-K through 12th grade.

This position does not offer virtual work options and requires in-person attendance at the school location.
